Plan for Thursday
Today I plan on going to the ARC. Me and my friend are going to do a light leg workout. So many people neglect working on their legs. Legs are a foundation to the rest of your body, they need to be worked on. We are going to do squats, leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises, leg flies, and crunches. After this, I am going to get a little bit of cardio in by playing pick up basketball. Lastly, I am going to Pulp to get a smoothie. Smoothies are a delicious yet very nutritional drink. Fun fact of the day: running will form leg muscles faster and better than any other form of exercise since running uses ALL of the leg muscles. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy day!
This is honestly one of the only things I have read that talk about leg day in a positive way! I love lifting legs and can never find anyone who is willing to lift them or even have conversations about them in a good way. I do not really enjoy going to the ARC, I have really bad gym anxiety so I bet going with a group of people is a lot easier. Basketball sounds fun too, but I am not good at it at all so respect for that! Smoothies are also one of my favorites, especially after a run!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious did you do legs before or after we played basketball and I gave you that dead leg? But on a serious note its good to see that you were lifting legs. People can neglect them when they workout and thats not good. You need to workout all parts of your body so its good to see you doing exactly this. Looking forward to reading your next blog!
ReplyDeleteI do not like lifting legs and that seems to be the normal. I respect you for liking to do legs. Going with a group would be a lot easier. I would suggest a protein shake after a lift or a run, it will help build muscle.
